5 Unique Colorbond Fencing Design Ideas (+ Photos)

Colorbond fencing design ideas

With a custom Colorbond fence design, you’ll stop people in their tracks and make them think; “Wow, look at that!”. If you want a beautiful new fence that truly stands out on your street, Colorbond offers plenty of design choices.

Today, we’ll spark your creativity by showcasing 5 unique Colorbond fencing design ideas.

We’ve also included photos to give you a better visual of each idea.

Let’s start with a simple but unique design idea.

1. Colorbond Colour Clash! – (Good Neighbour Fence Design)

Here’s the basic idea of this design:

Rather than matching the posts, rails, and sheets with the same colour, choose a bold contrasting combo! One way to play with this idea is to simply choose a different colour for your fence sheets.

Nothing too fancy there.

With Good Neighbour fencing, you could have Woodland Grey for your posts and tracks, but Surfmist for your sheets.

Simple, yet decorative display!

2. Show Off Those Posts! (Post & Rail Fence Design)

Post and rail fencing typically hides the posts behind the sheets. (When looking at the good side).

If you’re not a fan of this regular design, you can choose to have the posts visible from the front.

It would look a bit like Good Neighbour, nicely dividing the sheets with the posts.

Your contractors would have to be pretty switched on to make this design work since the building process is different than normal.

If you find guys who know what they’re doing (like us), this fence design looks beautiful.

Tip: You can even contrast the colours as described in the previous design idea too!

3. Contrasting Caps – (Colorbond Fence Design)

Capping for fencing is like icing on the cake.

It’s a nice finishing touch that makes it look more… Modern.

But who says this capping has to be the same colour as the rest of the fence?

A simple way to spice up your Colorbond fence is to use a different colour (that works) for the capping.

You could have a white fence with black capping.

Or a green fence with red capping.

Whatever floats your boat, we’ll help bring it to life.

4. Choose Your Colorbond Fence Sheet Profile

Did you know Colorbond fences come in a variety of sheet profiles?

Most people only think of the standard options, but there’s a lot more to explore. While Trimdeck (sometimes called Superdeck) is the go-to choice and the most common profile, there are plenty of other designs worth considering, such as:

  • Corrugated
  • Wavelok
  • Smartspan
  • CGI Mini (mini version of corrugated iron)

Each Colorbond fencing sheet has a unique design, so take your pick!

5. Two-Face Colorbond Colours – (Good Neighbour Fence Design)

Can’t agree with your neighbour on a fence colour? There’s a solution…

With Colorbond fencing, you’re able to get a different colour for each side of the sheet. Doesn’t apply to the posts or tracks/rails, just the sheets. Think of it like Two-Face from Batman (we’re talking The Dark Knight here, not Batman Forever). Each side of his face has its own personality, and so can each side of your new fence.

You can play it safe with Woodland Grey on your side.

While your neighbour enjoys a bolder tone, like Manor Red.

Note: If you go with this design, it’ll be a custom order. These take a while since they need special powder coating.
